REQUEST ROUTER — JOSEPH BERIN Independent browser prototype | October 11, 2026 Problem: store inquiries arrive with missing details or require different next steps. Scope: validate inputs, prevent duplicate IDs, match sample orders, route requests, prepare template replies, and export a queue for human review. Sample data only: ORD-1001 / alex@example.com / Packed; waiting for carrier pickup ORD-1002 / sam@example.com / Delivered Decision rules: 1. Missing request ID, valid email, or message: reject input. 2. Existing request ID: keep original; flag duplicate or conflicting details. 3. Missing order: request clarification. 4. No exact order/email match: manual verification, no order details disclosed. 5. Refund: owner approval; never issue or promise a refund automatically. 6. Shipping: insert matched sample status into a response template. 7. Other: manual review. Every reply is a draft. No customer message is sent. Implemented: HTML/CSS/JavaScript, in-memory queue, CSV export, input checks. No backend, live store connection, AI inference, or persistent record storage. Classification uses the chosen request type, not message interpretation. Next version to validate: Form/inbox -> workflow tool -> approved order records -> AI draft -> review queue. Use AI for summarization and wording, with source facts and policies explicitly provided. Keep matching, refund authorization, and duplicate controls outside AI. Before deployment: verify app access, secure credentials, privacy, model output quality, retries, failure alerts, idempotency, and reviewer approval. Live integrations and platform competence are not demonstrated by this prototype.
